Slots Objective

The goal when playing slots online is to spin the reels and hope that the reels land in a certain special pattern. For most online slots, winning patterns are read from left to right, starting with the first reel. Some patterns appear less frequently than others, and these are the ones that pay out the most.

Slots Rules

Slots are the easiest online casino games to learn and to play. There are just three simple steps to remember bet, spin, and win!

Betting relies on three things: number of paylines, number of coins per payline, and size of coins.

  • Paylines are special paths across the reels that winning combinations can follow. Simple three-reel slots might just have one payline right across the middle, but more complex video slots can have as many as 50 paylines that zig-zag across the screen. Players have control over how many paylines are "enabled". A winning combination only pays out when the payline it is on has been enabled, so more paylines is always better.
  • Coins per payline determines how many coins are wagered on a single payline. The payout of a winning combination is calculated based on this number.
  • Coin size can be anything from a single cent to $100 or more.

The final bet for each spin is therefore calculated like this:
(# of enabled paylines) x (# of coins per payine) x (coin size)

This is the easy part to spin the slot, players just need to click a button! The reels will spin, and usually they stop on their own. Some slots let players decide when the reels stop by clicking again. Any winning combinations will light up automatically, and the game will show how much was won. Some games offer an "auto spin" option that makes the game spin several times in a row automatically.

The amount won on each spin depends on three factors the payout multiplier of the winning combo(s), the number of coins wagered per payline, and the size of the coins used.
