At Doyles Room Poker, players can earn Gold Cards by participating in any real money ring game. They are awarded randomly, but they are given out more frequently during higher limit games. If a player gets a Gold Card that matches their current hole card, they win a prize. Otherwise, the Gold Card is saved. Players who have been saving up Gold Cards are in for a treat, because Doyles Room is giving away a huge number of cash prizes during their Gold Card $100,000 Blowout. During the last two weeks of 2009, the Gold Card Series 09 Countdown events offer a total of $50,000 in cash and tournament prizes. Then during the first 2 weeks of 2010, the Gold Card Series 10 Launch events offer another $50,000 in prizes, starting with a massive $10,000 tournament event on the 2nd. All of the daily tournaments in both Gold Card Series have a buy-in of just one Gold Card, but only players holding specific Gold Cards can participate.
